Help me help Haiti
Would you volunteer to help collect funds for Oxfam Ireland’s Haiti Earthquake Appeal? Or could you organise a collection in your workplace or school? Sponsored events are a tried and trusted way to generate funds. Choose what you would like to do - a walk, swim, cycle, head-shave or even a sponsored silence!
If you would like to organise your own sponsored event, please email your details to events@oxfamireland.org. You can also download a printable sponsorship form below.
If you are in the Republic of Ireland, you can set up your own ‘Help me help Haiti’ fundraising web page. The site is really easy to use - you can personalise your very own webpage, email friends and family and accept donations securely online.
We have materials that you can download and print to organise your own collection or fundraising event:

A4 Sponsorship Form:
- Republic of Ireland version
- Northern Ireland version (with Gift Aid option)
A4 Haiti Appeal Information Sheet - for noticeboards

Gift Aid
If you are collecting in Northern Ireland from UK taxpayers, ask your sponsors to Gift Aid their donations. Gift Aid allows Oxfam to reclaim the basic rate tax from the Inland Revenue. There is no extra cost to the donor and the process is simple - all you have to do is ask your donors to tick the Gift Aid box on the sponsorship form, and to ensure that their full address and postcode is included.
Cheques should be made payable to Oxfam.
